The tease campaign being fed by the Amorosi camp has done a great job of stirring up the interest of print and broadcast media over the past four weeks. In a competitive industry usually dominated by dizzy blonde things or laughable gangsta rappers, it’s a relief that this tremendous Aussie talent is being given the space to shine.
Vanessa is the quintessential little Aussie battler. Rather than give up, she packed her bags, headed to LA and recorded this gutsy album of pop rock, a sound perfectly matched to her immense voice and confident singing style. The songs ooze a tough exterior comparative with the great female rock singers, yet still foster a gentle introspection that give depth and meaning to a mix of fierce guitar rock and magnificent ballads.
